Mariia Sol
Graffiti Artist

Hello! I am Mariia

I was born in 1991 in Siberia, a small village in Russia. In 1998, my family moved to Krasnoyarsk, where I had the opportunity to attend various art studios and explore ceramics classes. During this time, I discovered a newfound freedom from the constraints of conventional norms, particularly when it came to expressing myself through art. Graffiti became my canvas of choice, where I could establish my own rules and be as free as possible as an artist. Ever since then, spray paint has become my primary tool for creativity.

My art is deeply rooted in emotions and how I perceive the world around me. I integrate my impressions and feelings into abstract paintings, driven by my unique interpretation of form and colors.

In 2013, I embarked on a journey to explore different cities in Siberia, gradually expanding the reach of my art. Eventually, I made my way to Moscow, where I continued my creative pursuits while also embracing opportunities to travel to Europe and Asia.

Now, I am based in California, continuing to explore new avenues for artistic expression and growth.

Feel free to get in touch if you’d like to collaborate on any project.

I saw a retro car in one of the car services. I immediately felt that I wanted to get behind the wheel again, I thought about how I could integrate the car into my drawing.
